Function: semanticdb-normalize-tags

semanticdb-normalize-tags is a byte-compiled function without a source file.

Signature

(semanticdb-normalize-tags ARG &rest ARGS)

Implementations

(semanticdb-normalize-tags (OBJ semanticdb-table-ebrowse) TAGS) in `semantic/db-ebrowse.el'.

Convert in Ebrowse database OBJ a list of TAGS into a complete tag. The default tag provided by searches exclude many features of a semantic parsed tag. Look up the file for OBJ, and match TAGS against a semantic parsed tag that has all the info needed, and return that.

(semanticdb-normalize-tags (OBJ semanticdb-table-emacs-lisp) TAGS) in `semantic/db-el.el'.

Convert tags, originating from Emacs OBJ, into standardized form.

(semanticdb-normalize-tags (OBJ semanticdb-abstract-table) TAGS) in `semantic/db.el'.

For the table OBJ, convert a list of TAGS, into standardized form. The default is to return TAGS. Some databases may default to searching and providing simplified tags based on whichever technique used. This method provides a hook for them to convert TAG into a more complete form.
