cider-eval-output-destination is a customizable variable defined in
cider-eval.el.

repl-buffer
Documentation
The destination for stdout and stderr produced from interactive evaluation.
If repl-buffer (the default), the output is sent to the current REPL buffer.
If output-buffer, it's sent to a dedicated *cider-out* buffer.
This variable was added, or its default value changed, in cider version 2.0.0.
