org-babel-load-languages is a customizable variable defined in org.el.gz.

Documentation

Languages which can be evaluated in Org buffers.

This list can be used to load support for any of the available languages with babel support (see info node (org) Languages). Each language will depend on a different set of system executables and/or Emacs modes.

When a language is "loaded", code blocks in that language can be evaluated with org-babel-execute-src-block, which is bound by default to C-c C-c (org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c).

The org-babel-no-eval-on-ctrl-c-ctrl-c option can be set to remove code block evaluation from C-c C-c (org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c). By default, only Emacs Lisp is loaded, since it has no specific requirement.

This variable was added, or its default value changed, in Org version
9.6.
