If true, try parsing Mercurial data structures directly.

This is done instead of always running Mercurial. We try to be safe against Mercurial data structure format changes and always fall back to running Mercurial directly.

This variable was added, or its default value changed, in Emacs 26.1.

Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 26.2.
