Alist of auxiliary optional fields for all BibTeX entries.

Elements should be of the same form as the elements of the OPTIONAL alist in bibtex-BibTeX-entry-alist (which see). These fields take precedence over optional fields in bibtex-BibTeX-entry-alist. See also bibtex-aux-opt-alist whose fields are always present.

This variable was added, or its default value changed, in Emacs 31.1.

Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 31.1.
