Use the denote-review package

The denote-review package by Matto Fransen implements a a simple review process for Denote notes.

The package provides options to extend the frontmatter of some notes with a reviewdate field. It also provides an ordered tabulated list of notes and their review date. The user is prompted to select either all notes in a directory or to narrow to a single keyword.

Select a note in this list to edit, or request a random note from the list to edit. Update the reviewdate of the note with a single command.
