Control the style of the file prompt
[ The user option denote-fancy-file-prompt is part of 4.3.0-dev. ]
The user option denote-fancy-file-prompt specifies the user’s preference for a fancy or simple prompt.
When the value is nil, the file prompt shows file names exactly as they are. Whereas a non-nil value transforms file names to make their components more apparent and to change their style accordingly.
This is relevant for commands such as denote-link and denote-open-or-create which prompt for a file:
Users who want to control exactly what the fancy prompt displays can configure the variable denote-file-prompt-extra-metadata. This is only meant for advanced users, because any changes to it will involve custom Emacs Lisp functions.
